Course Catalog
A private, no-judgment learning place for the topics young people are scared to ask anyone about. Come every day, learn at your own pace, and build the confidence to use what you learn in real life.
Lessons also teach how to be safe at home, at school, online, in the neighborhood, and in relationships — spotting red flags, finding trusted adults, asking for help in person, by text, and silently, and making a safety plan of your own. The program includes plain-language guides to the systems a young person may face: juvenile court step by step (police contact, intake, detention hearings, detention, probation, and release), DYS and what a stay is like, medical and mental-health facility stays and your rights inside them, and an honest explanation of charges, fines, and consequences — with the legal vocabulary to understand them. Penalties vary by state and by case; nothing here invents numbers.
One section per week with short daily lessons — or combine them and finish in a few days if you choose to move fast. Going slowly is never punished; there is no lock-out.
Passing earns a downloadable Certificate of Completion from Minister Destiny Testimony Schools — Youth, presented by Minister Destiny Marie Morgan, Minister & Founder, with the completion date and section title. Your name is a fill-in you add after you save the certificate — the site never collects or stores it.

School: Minister Destiny Testimony Schools
Track: Youth
Program: 4 weeks, one lesson per week — or finish faster; it is self-paced and there is no lock-out for going slow)
Founded and presented by: Minister Destiny Marie Morgan, Minister & Founder
How it works: Each week has one real lesson, a short list of words to know, a "what would you do" example walked through step by step, and a short quiz. Score 80% or higher on a week's quiz to complete that week (you can retake it as many times as you need — the answers are not shown — review the lesson and try again). Finish all four weeks and you earn the Certificate of Completion.
Where these four weeks come from: These four weeks take the four foundations of the 12-month Youth track and teach them first: safety at home and trusted adults (Month 1), online safety (Month 2), bullying and cyberbullying (Month 3), and feeling overwhelmed and asking for help (Month 6, taught early because it holds everything else up). After these four weeks, the year program goes deeper, month by month.
Take one class a day, or several classes in a day — you set the pace. Nothing is locked.
Chapter tests grow longer as the course grows — more questions are added as each course is completed.
Home is supposed to be the safe place. For a lot of young people, it mostly is. For some, home is where the hard stuff happens — yelling that never stops, adults who drink or use drugs and change into different people, being hit or grabbed, being left alone too much, or a feeling in your stomach that something is just not right. If any of that sounds familiar: it is not your fault, and it is not your job to fix the adults. Your job is to be as safe as you can and to know exactly who you can go to.
Safe does not mean perfect. Every family argues sometimes. Safe means:
If one of those is missing, that is a real problem — and it is an adult problem, not a kid problem. Telling someone about it is not "snitching." It is how the problem gets to the people whose actual job is fixing it.
Any one of these is enough reason to talk to a trusted adult. You do not have to wait until it gets worse.
A trusted adult is a grown-up who: listens to you, believes you, does not hurt you, and will actually do something to help. It can be a parent or grandparent, an aunt or uncle, a teacher, a school counselor or nurse, a coach, a faith leader, a friend's parent, or a police officer or firefighter.
Build your map now, before you need it. Pick three trusted adults — not one, three — because one person might not be reachable. For each one, know:
If the first adult does not believe you or does nothing, tell the next one. Keep telling until someone acts. That is not being dramatic. That is how help works, and adults who work with kids are trained and required to act.
Sometimes it is not safe to make a phone call. You still have options:
The situation: Your friend Kayla has been quiet all week. At lunch she finally tells you her mom's boyfriend yells every night, and last night he threw a plate at the wall near her. She makes you promise not to tell anyone. She says, "It's fine, he didn't hit me."
Walk it through:
The same steps work if the person in the situation is you.
✅ Week 1 complete (quiz score 80% or higher): You can now spot red flags at home, you have the idea of a trusted-adult map with three names on it, and you know how to ask for help out loud, by text, or silently.
What's next: Week 2 — Safe Online: strangers, fake friends, and pressure. The internet has trusted-adult problems of its own, and next week you learn to spot them before they get close.
Online, people are not always who they say they are. An adult who wants to get close to a kid will almost never start with anything that looks dangerous. It starts friendly. This week is about seeing the pattern early — because once you can name it, it loses its power over you.
Grooming is when an adult (or sometimes an older teen) slowly builds a kid's trust in order to use them. It usually looks like this:
Any step of this pattern is a red flag — you do not have to wait for step 4. A real friend never needs you to hide them from every adult in your life.
Once a photo leaves your phone, you do not control it. It can be saved, copied, and shared in seconds, even from apps that say photos "disappear." So:
The situation: In your favorite game, a player called "Storm" has been on your team for two weeks. Storm says she's 15, sends you game gifts, and tells you you're her best friend. Tonight Storm asks you to switch to a different chat app "so the team can't spy on us," and asks what school you go to.
Walk it through:
✅ Week 2 complete (quiz score 80% or higher): You can spot the grooming pattern step by step, you know the photo rule and why it matters, and you know the exact steps to take if someone pressures or threatens you online — including that the blame is never yours.
What's next: Week 3 — Bullying and Cyberbullying: what to do when it happens to you, and how to help a friend without making it worse.
Bullying is not "just drama," and it is not something you have to handle alone or "toughen up" about. It has a shape: it is repeated, it is on purpose, and there is a power difference — someone stronger, older, more popular, or in a group, targeting someone who has a harder time defending themselves. One mean comment is a bad moment; a pattern of them is bullying.
Most bullying happens in front of an audience, and the audience is the most powerful part. You do not have to fight anyone to change it:
It happens — a joke that went too far, a chat you laughed along in. What you do next is what counts: stop, delete what you can, apologize like you mean it (privately is fine), and don't do it again. That is not weakness. That is character.
If bullying includes threats of violence, weapons, sexual content, or a plan to hurt someone: that is beyond school discipline — tell an adult immediately, and if someone may be hurt soon, it is a 911 call. If the target talks about hurting themselves, treat it as real, every time: tell an adult and share the 988 number with them — or call it yourself and ask what to do.
The situation: A group chat you're in starts posting edited photos of a quiet kid from school, "Devon," with cruel captions. Everyone's laughing in the chat. You're not posting — but you haven't said anything either. Tonight Devon texts you separately: "please don't tell anyone. it'll just get worse."
Walk it through:
✅ Week 3 complete (quiz score 80% or higher): You can tell bullying from a one-time argument, you have a real plan if it targets you (evidence, block, tell, stay connected), and you know how to be an upstander for a friend — including when a "don't tell" promise has to be broken to keep someone safe.
What's next: Week 4 — When It Feels Like Too Much: big feelings, asking for help without shame, and building your own safety plan. Finish it and the Certificate of Completion is yours.
Everyone has stretches where things feel heavy — stress at home, trouble at school, friend drama, grief, or a sadness or worry that just sits there. This week is about understanding those feelings, knowing the warning signs that mean "get help now," and building the plan you'll actually use. This might be the most important week in this course.
You can also call 988 about a friend and ask what to do. You do not have to carry someone else's crisis alone.
If a friend says they want to die, hurt themselves, or "not be here anymore" — even as a "joke," even if they say "don't tell":
You have now built, piece by piece across these four weeks, a complete safety toolkit: trusted adults, online defenses, a bullying plan, calm-down tools, and this safety plan. That is the whole course.
The situation: Your best friend Marcus has changed over the last month — quit the team, stopped coming to lunch, leaves your messages on read. Tonight he finally replies: "honestly everyone would be better off if I just wasn't around. forget I said anything."
Walk it through:
✅ Week 4 complete (quiz score 80% or higher): You know the warning signs that mean "get help now," you have calm-down tools for the everyday hard days, and you have your own written safety plan.
All four weeks + all four quizzes at 80% or higher earns:

> This lesson is educational information, Massachusetts-first, and is not legal advice. Laws and penalties vary by state and by case. If you have a real case, talk to a lawyer — many offer free first consultations, and public defenders are free if you qualify.
Every case is different, but the road looks like this in Massachusetts:
Missing court dates makes everything worse: a missed date can mean a warrant, arrest, and added charges. If you cannot make a date, call the court or your lawyer before the date, not after.
The sentence is only part of the price. The rest is called collateral consequences — the civil and practical effects of an arrest, a charge, or a conviction. Here is where they land.
On you:
On your kids and family:
On your housing:
On your job:
Consider "Marcus," a composite of many real stories. Marcus, 29, works full-time stocking a warehouse and lives in a subsidized apartment with his partner and their two kids. After a fight outside a bar, he's charged with assault and battery. He takes a CWOF with a year of probation, an anger-management class, and about $800 in fees — no jail. He thinks it's over. It isn't:
One fight. Nobody went to jail. And it took Marcus almost two years of steady effort — keeping every date, paying every fee, documenting everything, then sealing what he could — to climb out. That is the lesson: the courtroom part is often the smallest part.
Denise's adult son, who lives with her in her public-housing unit, is arrested on a drug charge across town. Denise asks: "It didn't happen here, and it's his case — why is my apartment at risk?"
Walk it through: (1) Public-housing rules treat the household, not just the individual — a household member's drug-related criminal activity can be grounds to terminate the whole household's tenancy, even if the activity happened off the property. (2) Denise should not ignore any notice from the housing authority — deadlines in those letters are short and missing one can end the case by default. (3) She should get help fast: legal aid and tenant advocates handle exactly this, and housing authorities must usually give a hearing — her son's case being pending (not a conviction) matters and should be presented. (4) For the family going forward: this is why Section 1 teaches that one member's charge is a whole-family event — the fastest protection is early legal help, keeping every appointment, and documenting everything.
✅ Section 1 complete (quiz score 80% or higher): You can walk a case from arrest to disposition, you know what CORI is, and you can name the collateral consequences that reach kids, housing, and jobs — plus the protective steps that interrupt the spiral early.

> A note on what this school is: this is community-designed training — Minister Destiny's program, built from lived experience in the neighborhoods being policed. It is not agency policy and does not replace your department's training, general orders, or the law. Where this program proposes new approaches, they are taught and labeled as proposals. Nothing here is legal advice.
Behavior that looks chaotic from a patrol car window usually has a structure. People adapt to their environment — to what is safe, what is scarce, and what has worked before. Officers call some of this "survival behavior" in this school's language, and the first skill is recognizing it:
The discipline of this school: before you classify a person or a scene, name two explanations that are not crime. If you can't rule them out, you haven't finished reading the scene.
Before acting on a first impression (where the situation allows any pause at all), run the five questions this school teaches:
Officers who run this read consistently report the same discovery: a large share of "resistance" and "disorder" was a misread scene — and a misread scene, enforced, teaches a whole block not to call you next time. Every encounter is also an advertisement for whether calling the police helps. That is the trust this school is named for.
The call: Noise complaint, 11:40 p.m. You arrive at a triple-decker. Fifteen people on and around the porch, music, a grill going. Several people go quiet and step back as you approach; one man, mid-twenties, keeps talking loudly to his friends and does not acknowledge you. A child, maybe seven, watches you from the doorway and does not move or speak.
The fast (wrong) read: defiance from the loud man, a crowd problem forming, a "bad neighborhood" being itself.
The five-question read:
Ninety seconds of reading turned a potential crowd confrontation into a closed noise complaint — and fifteen people watched police solve a problem without humiliating anyone. That is the deposit this school calls trust, and it compounds.
On a welfare check, you find a grandmother caring for four grandchildren in a one-bedroom apartment. The home is cluttered but the children are fed, in school clothes, and calm. The grandmother is wary and answers questions standing in the doorway. A colleague says afterward: "That place is a mess — and she clearly didn't want us in there. Something's off."
The school's analysis: Almost every element has a non-criminal explanation that fits better. Clutter in an overcrowded home is capacity, not neglect — the relevant observations are the children: fed, dressed for school, calm around her. Doorway answers are classic survival behavior — an elder who has learned that letting officials inside can bring consequences, protecting her household the way she knows how; wariness of police in the home is not consciousness of guilt. "Something's off" is a conclusion, not an observation — the five-question read asks what was observed that indicates risk to the children, and on these facts the answer is: nothing yet. The correct close is a respectful one: confirm the children are well, leave a card and resource information, document observations (facts, not adjectives), and let any follow-up be driven by facts that emerge — not by the feeling a poor home gives an observer. Section 6 takes up when home conditions do warrant a support check and how this school proposes grades and school signals be used — as triggers for help, not punishment.
✅ Section 1 complete (quiz score 80% or higher): You can separate observation from conclusion, name survival behavior when you see it, and run the five-question read before acting on a first impression.

This web app collects as little information as possible. Information is gathered only to run the app and answer you: messages you choose to submit through forms (such as resource suggestions, program inquiries, and support and review submissions, which are posted only after Minister Destiny approves them), and basic, anonymous visit counts.
The schools on these apps collect no real names and no accounts from minors. Quizzes, progress, and certificates stay on the visitor's own device; certificate names are filled in by the learner after download and are never sent to this site.
Your information is never sold. The disguised mode and safety features on these apps keep no history or log of emergency actions. To ask for your information to be deleted, email ministerdestinymariemorgan@gmail.com.
This app uses only the cookies it needs to function, plus your language preference.
The content of this web app is educational information only. It is not legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney–client relationship. Laws, forms, and procedures vary by state and change over time; court forms come from official sources — verify you have the current version before filing.
This web app is not a 911 or emergency service and does not replace 911. In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) if you can do so safely. Health and mental-health content is education, not diagnosis or treatment; in a mental-health crisis, call or text 988 (U.S.).
Program certificates from the Minister Destiny Testimony Schools certify completion of an educational program only. They are not a state license, not an official agency certification, and do not by themselves qualify the holder for any job or legal authority. Training and proposals presented for law enforcement are education and advocacy by Minister Destiny Marie Morgan; they are not official policy of any department or agency unless that agency formally adopts them.
